Ok after a 3 week break , we finally got back playing, in between i played neil at 40K , and he rolled terrible, thus eldar registered a win.
After disappearing through the rift , Durgen and Sits find themselves in the desert city of kaer maga ” the City of Strangers ”
“New to the city? All respect and honors, gov, but you’re not. No one is. These walls have seen wonders that would turn you or me to dust, and they’ll see more after you’re gone. No sir, Kaer Maga may be new to you, but you’re nothing new to Kaer Maga. Ten thousand years she’s slept here, and still we’ve yet to wake her. Some would say as we’re her dreams, on account of our strangeness, but I don’t buy that. I say we’re her children, though a fat lot of good that does us. See, the city, she’s like a giant insect who’ll devour her young without a second thought. In here, there’s none who will so much as bother to forget you when you’re gone. You’re nothing. Finding themselves on a roof , they jump down to the street below!
Meanwhile Bris and Corik keep pullin the chain but they hear a sniger behind them and a dark elf pushes them , the chain pull them down into a rift, ging through it they appear next to a statue of Saranrae in the cursed city of Kaer Maga.
Meeting up the team make there way to an inn to sort themselves out , and work out there next plans , they musy find Tirana and the Rat king but how? A bit of of bardic power, singing , dancing and playing ,Durgen wins the bartender over and he tells them of a dwarf named Gadka Burtennan , he will know !
“Here’s the deal,” says the dwarf. “It appears that we find ourselves in a situation that could be mutually beneficial. In the last few months, Tirana’s taken the Split street gang under her wing and organized them, given them a taste of legitimacy in exchange for a share of the loot. They’re small fish—no imagination, just thugs and cutthroats—but they’ve been causing me problems. When they were independent, they were easy enough to deal with—give ‘em a couple of coins and a fake amulet, and they were on their way. Under her, though, they’re becoming more efficient, starting a real protection racket, and the price to keep my cart off-limits is completely absurd… particularly now that I don’t dare give them dummy amulets. Not that I carry any of those, mind you. Anyhow, I’ve done some business with Tirana in the past, finding obscure reagents and whatnot for her experiments, and I know where she keeps her base of operations. I’ll tell you, but in return I need you to handle these goons for me. It can’t look like I’m behind it, either—make it look like a gang squabble, or a mugging gone wrong, or whatever. Just put them down, and make sure that when you’re done none of them are in any shape to harass honest businessmen like me. We clear?”
So i suppose if you help Gadka he will tell you where Tiranas Lair is ??
You find yourself at a dodgy ware house in the dark side of town, lead by small goblin/halfling character he shows them the warehouse,inside are 4 large figures and some sort of device , plaus many herbs and magic items.
The street gang are a bunch of weirdly dressed electrical golems
They beat the golems , and return to Gadka
Gadka knows that Tirana makes her home in a handful of abandoned tunnels and laboratories that once belonged to a scientific conclave calling itself the Council of Truth, which dissolved years ago. Located between Cavalcade and the Bottoms near the outer wall that overlooks the cliff, the entrance is marked by the ruins of an old water mill in a nearby stream. Its wide double doors, cast from bronze, bear the engraved image of a large-eyed owl—the Council of Truth’s symbol.In addition, Gadka recalls that on his one venture into the complex, he noticed a large shaft used for ventilation opening into the cliff face high above.
They make there way to the Place and find its guarded by more golems and more of them goblin creatures , they make there way down into the first room.Persued by the Golems.
A short flight of stone stairs leads down into an elegant room tiled with white marble on the floor, walls, and ceiling. A long raised trough running through the center of the floor contains a few feet of crystal-clear water and lazily swimming orange fish. A random assortment of small rugs and reed mats covers the floor near the southern wall.
The room is trapped !!! Sits Springs the trap !!!!
The 4 golems appear through a secret door and the fight starts !!!
